Who we are

Tainted Love Paint & Co. ("we," "us," "our") operates this website from Hermon, NY — serving St. Lawrence County & Northern New York. You can reach us at red@taintedlovepaintco.com or (315) 854-1323.

What information we collect

This site does not run a server-side backend. The "Get a Quote" form and the email signup popup both work by opening your own device's email app with a pre-filled message — nothing you type is transmitted to us, stored on a server, or seen by us, until you personally press send in your own email client. Whatever you choose to send us that way (name, email, project details) is then handled the same as any other email you send us.

If you call or text the shop number, we may retain that contact information the same way any small business would — in our phone and messages.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. This site uses your browser's local storage only for two things: remembering that you've dismissed the cookie notice, and remembering that you've closed the email signup popup, so it doesn't show again. Nothing in that local storage is sent to us or to any third party.

If this changes — for example, if we add Google Analytics, a Meta/Instagram pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising tool — this policy must be updated to disclose that before those tools go live.

Third parties

We don't currently share any information with third parties, because we don't currently collect any information ourselves (see above). Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to display this site's typography; Google's own privacy policy governs that connection.

Your rights

If you've emailed, texted, or called us and want us to delete that information, email red@taintedlovepaintco.com and we'll honor that request.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults seeking custom paint and motorcycle services and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If how this site collects or handles information changes, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
